Mixed results for the week.

 The European stocks are ending the session with modest gains on the day:

  • German DAX rose 0.43%
  • France’s CAC rose 0.41%
  • UK’s FTSE rose 0.21%
  • Spain’s Ibex fell -0.37%
  • Italy’s FTSE MIB rose by 0.47%
  • Portugal’s PSI 20 rose 0.26%

For the week, the results were mixed:

  • German DAX rose 0.38%
  • France’s CAC rose 0.96%
  • UK’s FTSE rose 0.65% 
  • Spain’s Ibex fell -1.76%
  • Italy’s FTSE MIB fell -0.08%
  • Portugal’s PSI 20 rose 0.35%

In the 10 year debt sector today, yields moved lower today:

A snapshot of other markets as London traders look to exit shows:

  • Spot gold down -$4.80 at $1242.53
  • WTI crude oil is trading up $0.33 at $70.65

In the US stock market, the indices are showing:

  • S&P index up 3 points or 0.12% at 2801.57
  • NASDAQ up 11 points or 0.14% at 7834.90
  • Dow is up 75.8 points or 0.31% at 25001

Yields are lower in the US:

The JPY is the strongest currency of the majors now. The NZD is the weakest. The USD is mixed with most of the change vs the NZD now.
